MotoGP today published attendance figures for all the 2014 events. motogp/en/news/2015/Crowds+grow+as+MotoGP+pulls+in+close+to+25million+fans+at+2014+Grands+Prix I have to say I view these with a serious dose of salt. We only consider race day attendance (which are not published) as the most accurate reflection of the event. For example, the figure for Qatar is absurd when you consider that the main grandstand only holds 5000, and certainly was far from full at the start of the MotoGP race. However the figures do reflect a more general result - which are the best-attended events. I am pleased these confirm what we already know - our home event of Brno is the biggest! Here are the top Pole Position Travel events in 2014: 1. Brno 2. Sepang 3. Mugello 4. Silverstone 5. Valencia 6. Misano 7. Catalunya 8. Isle of Man TT 9. Assen 10. Motegi (!) This is largely consistent with previous years, however Sepang has grown to knock Valencia out of its traditional 2nd spot. Valencia itself was way down this year, and Silverstone and Mugello were almost identical. The surprise was a great Motegi! It will be of little surprise that the worst event for us was Argentina - just 3 customers! Lets hope this improves in 2015!
