Motor Vehicle Crash on Rt.3 North in Duxbury with Serious Injury Today at approximately 7:45pm, troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Norwell Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Rt.3 North in the area of Exit 10 in Duxbury. The investigation is currently ongoing, with the assistance of troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and Crime Scene Services Section. The Duxbury Fire/Rescue Department and Police Department also responded. The 56 year-old male operator from Kingston sustained life-threatening injuries after being ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over and was transported to Beth Israel Hospital by Medflight. His name is not anticipated to be released tonight pending family notification. All northbound and southbound lanes of Rt.3 were closed for approximately 20 minutes for Medflights arrival and departure.
