Mr. Ch. Prasad was an agriculturist and the only bread-winner of his family residing in a remote village in Andhra Pradesh. In November 2013, to purchase some of the agriculture related items he was driving to Vijayawada and met with an accident on his way. He was shifted to KIMS hospitals, Vijayawada and was operated on his Spinal Cord. Doctors who operated Mr. Ch. Prasad has no hopes that Mr. Ch. Prasad would walk again but as a formality referred him to Dr. Moses Benny Penugula, a resident Physical Therapist of Giffard Memorial Hospitals, Nuzvid, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh for Spinal Cord Injury Exercises. Mr. Ch. Prasad has no sensation from Chest to Foot and Dr. Moses Benny took this case as challenge and makes Mr. Prasad to walk without any support equipments in 3 months. Mr. Ch. Prasad and his family are very thankful to Dr. Moses Benny who showed a ray of hope. He walked to the Physical Department of Giffard Memorial Hospital on December 3rd 2014, which happens to be the World Handicap Day and a year later after the horrible accident and was happy to witness his tale to the world.
