Mr. Starr is not dealing with the fact that the black American entertainment industry bears most of the responsibility for the bad reputation his race has in parts of the world where few if any blacks exist. It began with the blaxploitation films of the 1970s and continues with rap lyrics celebrating racial self-hatred and a criminal sub-culture. I strongly suggest that you American blacks give up your security blanket attachment to using the n-word. It only reinforces your own self-hatred and the contempt of others.
