Much to be thankful for this year. A wonderful strong daughter who beat cancer, a wonderful fearless daughter who returned safely from 12 months of being on her own 12,000 miles away, the warm thoughts and prayers of so many friends towards their well-being, a great and interesting job and work environment with an enlightened ownership and management, a wonderful house from 1790 (a little chilly but its a great house), a bunch of friends who dont seem to mind too much my rantings on Facebook, a great PA Class of 68 reunion with an extraordinary group of people, new projects in the town (Conservation Commission and East End Development group) with new people to get to know and share time with, a sublime area for biking and hiking and photographing the beauty before me, a great wife and partner for now 27 years keeping me focused and balanced most of the time, and a Pope who actually seems to understand Christianity. Oh, and all the wonderful medicals who helped Eden, and our State of Vermonts health plan that prevented her from becoming a pauper at 27. And our State of Vermont, ahead of its time, a leader amongst states, with great leadership locally, regionally and nationally. Cheers to you one and all.
