My AKA anniversary mate, Debbie R Hillman, gave me the number 8: 1. I am the youngest of four, with two living siblings. 2. My college roommate, for three of my four undergraduate years, was Dr. Mary E. White, and we became friends after discovering that we were each dating the same Kappa in undergrad school... Thank you, Luther Fisher! 3. I attended Purdue University at the insistence of my mother, even though she and my father went to Indiana University, Purdues arch rival 4. I loved each of my 4 grandparents dearly 5. My mothers parents were a part of the Great Migration, and moved from Monterrey, LA, to the Gary, IN area. 6. I hold a Masters degree in Educational Media from Purdue University, earned in 1975, again at my mothers insistence! 7. I worked as an Artist in Education for the Fulton County Arts Council for many years before and after going to work full-time in the DeKalb County School District. 8. I have been a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA for more than 20 years!
