My Dear Sirs, Madams, Colleges, Friends & Students, this book was authored by Dr. Chinthaka Premachandra, currently serving as an Academic and also as a Researcher in a leading university in Tokyo, Japan. Since year 2000 up to-date he continued his studies and worked in Japan. Both English & Japanese versions of this book are also available. This is a very useful and ideal book for anybody going Japan for their studies, starting from the language school up to MSc or PhD studies. This book was authored by Dr. Chinthaka Premachandra, who was born in Sri Lanka. Chinthaka was awarded the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarships in year 2000 for undergraduate studies in Japan, while being selected to become an Engineering undergraduate of a State of the art Engineering Faculty in Sri - Lanka. He received his BSc Eng. and MSc Eng. Degrees with high academic achievement from the Mie University, Tsu, Japan in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He obtained his PhD in Engineering from the Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 2011. In 2012, Dr. Chinthaka joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan. He is currently an Asst. Professor in the same Department. His main research interests are in the areas of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Image Processing, Visible Light Communication and Flying Robot Controlling. Dr. Chinthaka is also supervising numerous research projects leading to MSc & PhD studies and he has also published numerous papers in the areas of his research interests in leading National & International conferences and Journals in many countries including Japan, USA, UK, Australia, France, Canada, Korea, Holland, Malaysia, China, and Thailand Etc. He is also a member of IEEE, IEICE (Japan), ITE (Japan) and SOFT (Japan). Further he served as the interpreter (Sinhala - Japanese) for the Judiciary system in Japan.
