My FB, my therapy. You no like, you no look. Anyhoo...passing thought (sorry Rodney, I have them their thoughts...dont mean to offend). When I was a teenager...I was anorexic. No really...96 lbs, at 5.7...wasnt cute. I remember my dad after Sunday services offering me $$ to eat a donut...I refused, he cried...hard. Clearly I have some donuts/cheeseburgers since then. But I fight that little anorexic teenager every day...whatev...we all have demons. More often than I should over the years Ive heard fat people jokes. Not ok. Ever. First of all looks are subjective...and on this side of things, fleeting. But in this society, what is acceptable, what is...beautiful, is...distorted. I implore you. Encourage one another to love themselves...as they are....especially children. If you feel someone you care for is overweight....encourage a healthier lifestyle, dont tell them they need to change. Some of THE MOST attractive people to me....are not your typical beautiful or handsome. I am not being trite, when I say: beauty is within. See that beauty in people. Love/like them for who they ARE, NOT what you prefer them to look like.
