My Mother broken with sorrow, filled with grief, and shattered with pain when you look at the wars, violence, apathy, and hate that divided marriages, destroys relationships, and ruins the peace and harmony within individual hearts and souls. We are all only family, but we treat each other like enemies. We are all one body made from dirt, but we try to elevate ourselves above other people. Dear Mother, if we knew just how Powerful, Majestic, and glorious God is, we would never try to elevate ourselves. Rather, in humility, we would wash the feet of our brother and do everything that we could to lift the spirits of our sister. Please open our eyes to respond to the needs of others, break our comfort zone that tries to stifle of make excuses for talking to the homeless man or stopping to bring solace to the girl who is crying. My Mother, let us live as Jesus lived and love with the depths of his unconditional, perfect love. We are the servants- Jesus in the master. It should not be the other way around. So, please help us to put everything in proper perspective do our best to spread the love of Christ to everyone around us.
