My Mum passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer last month her body was sent to this funeral home in Bellingham. All phone numbers we were given wrang out or were answered by people who had no idea what to do and treated us with the utmost disrespect. We were given some addresses 2 we turned upto others were further away. The first was a derelict building up for sale. The second bolted but in use this being where here body was. After this vidio we did manage to reason with the man you hear in the vidio. He phoned us an hour after he hung up on us whilst we were with the police. So we bought her plot and her casket drove 2 and 1/2 hrs back home then went to see her body the next day. He showed up in a rusty old white hurst with his ill and i mean very ill daughter who could be no older than 4. We had told the man we wanted to be careful as we would have our 13 yr old brother and had no wish for him to see her body. We had no time to react though our mum was lying casket open at the front door. There was no time for us to take a minute to breath and prepare ourselves for what we would see. Her jaw had not been set correctly and she was coverd only buy a thin blanket. After a while he came in to talk about payment but as soon as he realised I had a British card even though this had been explained to him the day before. The funeral was booked to happen at 2 we were still arguing with him at quarter past. the man closed her casket and started using her as a desk whilst he was on the phone to bank. Scribbling on paper and leaning casually on it saying you have a british zip code this wont work you cant have her body. Finally after a long wait we had the go ahead. It didnt click to us that he didnt have a team to help move the casket he orderd us to put her in ourselves! We made it to the cemetory for 3.30pm luckily the men were still there and could proceed with our 4 person funeral, myself 26 my husband and my 23 and 13 year old brothers. I could not handle letting another family go through what we had to. My mum is now rested but we have been damaged in so many ways after our experience.
