My Xena Pup-date: Most of you know shes been dealing with bone cancer. Shes done very well but we are starting to see pain medication is maxing out - at least the current one. She still gets around and STILL guards her house and controls her pack, does stairs and goes out for potties. Her coat is rough, it doesnt even really feel like hers. Shes still on heartworm prevention and taking her seizure control medication, but we are starting to see her pant more often (and I know shes a tough ol gal) but its pain. She comes up to me and lays her head on me when its the worst and I know by her request she wants meds, she may be an addict for the rest her of life and thats fine with me, shes still my baby girl and she knows it. We dont know what time we have left, but shes a trooper and is making the best of it she can! Love me some Xena!
