My analysis on the current political situation. 1. I do not - TopicsExpress

My analysis on the current political situation. 1. I do not agree with the Objectives/demands of the Dharna. 2. The objective of Dahran should not be to topple the government, but it must be for the reformants. I do agree with the arguments that if this Dharna succeeded then every other who can gather some people will do this. IK always give references from cricket. Here is my analogy: if umpire is corrupt and he has given you out, would you boycott the match or will try to ban the umpire from the next match? I have observed the similar situation in Thailand, in last 10 years. Where governments are dismantle every other year with the protests. 3. Leaders should be role models, they must not use abusive language. Also they must not use the strong statements, so that if they have to take back their words they should not have to repent. 4. It is becoming mentality our nations that one can either be absolute correct or absolute wrong. Differing 1% from ones ideology and you will be marked JAHIL. 5. It is appreciated that literate people are gathering under one party (PTI), but at the same time it is discouraging that the same class of people, instead of engaging in healthy arguments and trying to convince others, labeling others as Jahil. I call them parhe-likhay JAHIL. And with the same argument I am too :) 6. Disagreeing with one decision of PTI does not mean pro PMLN. 7. Although, I did vote for PTI, but it is my concern ever before election. That IK always target PMNL. There are much bigger crocodiles the PMNL, PTI/IK must give due respect to these crocodile as well. Silence against MQM is always questionable. We all know there was much bigger rigging in Karachi then Punjab. PTI must speak about these at the same magnitude. 8. A leader must be of principles. I do not like when you start getting support from other corrupt people for fighting against a corrupt. 9. My assumptions is, if PTI succeeded in the objectives of their Dahrana and able to topple the government, the PMLN will come much stronger due to sympathy. And if not PTI will come stronger in the next election due to the sympathy, and it will not be a political death of PTI as most are arguing. 10. I do trust that IK is a honest person, but he is a Pathan at the same time (sorry to Pathan friends. just using this term metaphorically for lighter fun). And Pathans are little Jazbatti. I would have to think twice before voting again to a person whom I know may take irrational decisions due to his Jazbattiness.
