My big granny met The Lord today. She was just under a month shy of 105. She was wise and ornery and smart and opinionated and had her whits about her until almost the very end. I have a bunch of stories I want to put on here, like how she dyed her hair with that temporary stuff that washed out til she was 98...said she figured at that age people were bound to know she was grey....lol..how she pinched me every single time I saw her...how she used to play a mean hand of cards....I had to draw her a map to use her VCR..DVD...tv combo...and made her a sign that showed her how to to check her answering machine. I can still hear her message "this is Ina"...regrets of times I should have seen her more. 105 makes ya lonely. She was loved by many. I miss her house that smelled like Avon and her tea cakes. Goulash and salmon patties. She cooked enough to feed a King at each meal. Miss that.
