My boy came home to me today ... so now its time to make him a fitting resting spot that will surround him by the things he loved. The stone, which will be his memorial marker, is actual stone called Agate and is real pretty as well as translucent. I didnt burn the image yet but will in a couple days so the image you see of him is a simulation i did to show what it will look like. The urn that he is in is nice, but I want something more appealing so I am going to make him one (or at least attempt to) out of a piece of black cherry (the piece of wood in the images below). Then he will rest on a piece of sheared beaver which is ultra soft and warm which was what he loved to sleep on. This way he will have his permanent soft spot but also always enjoy the warmth. And to finish it all off, there will be a full water scene that will wrap around his spot. That will be done using the same materials that you use for model railroading. Since my personal finances are what they are, I am so glad that I actually had all the materials still here and didnt get rid of them. This is one time where being a pack-rat saved me as I didnt have to spend a dime and had my epiphany of what I wanted for Tigers final resting area. This will take about a week to finish but wanted to share the before images then I will show it when done.
