My brothers and sisters who have chronic diseases and who are on - TopicsExpress

My brothers and sisters who have chronic diseases and who are on medications, the diabetics etc, before this Ramadan, I would advise you to consult your Doctor for a check up. Talk to your doctor about the blessed hours of fasting, if any adjustment should be made in dosage regimen. For the Asthmatics, according to the Scholars, its fine to use an inhaler while you are fasting (as the inhaled medication enter directly in the bronchus). For those on antibiotics should notify their Doctor about the dosage adjustment in Ramadan inshaallah. Our brothers and sisters in Europe, who are on medications should imperatively consult the doctor, or ask the Pharmacist advise, due to the very long hours of fasting this summer. Pregnant women should ask the Gynecologist advise inshaallah Fasting is an obligation in Islam, leaving it is a major sin unless you have a valid reason like travelling or due to sickness. Fasting is really good for ones health, this has been proved scientifically alhamdulilaaa If you need any advise, kindly inbox me, ill try to help you inshaallah jazakallah khayr Mohammad Ryad (MPharm-UKRAINE) Pharmacist Mauritius
