My child was repeatedly traumatized by her classroom staff and teachers. She was developing and progressing well until she changed schools, and she started showing traumatic symptoms. She has severe Autism, and we never knew how bad it was for her. Her last school day was the worst, rope burns on both ankles and bruises from the waist down appeared. She was screaming and screaming, white with fright, skin cold to the touch. After 2 years we finally had an administrative hearing, and no one from the school appeared to show no concern for her well being, in fact, they were cheering each other on as they tried to testify against her and us. Here is what her school did.....now she is a child that is afraid to learn......facing an uncertain future, we are waiting for the hearing officers decision about the current dispositiion of her education and her future. She has never recovered from her trauma and at least one doctor is pointing to HYPOXIA from the staffs use of physical force on the child.
