My dad got some cool cold war era stuff. Mainly a lot of Bandages and a couple of Geiger Counters and some other neat vintage stuff. I think its 1956 or so. Along with the Picker Bounty there was a bunch of glass vials of Sodium Pentathol. My brother said, you need a medical license to even possess these. And that was enough to drive my dad into a paranoid fit and smash every single one of them. No real thought really just a statement about how theyll put you under the jail and throw away the key and grabbed a hammer and went to work smashing and smashing. Like a goob. Whats done is done. but like...surely there is some sort of expiration or way to get some type of legal paper work or render it useless by casting it in resin or something? Its seems like that would have been a valuable thing even for nostalgic or historical collections. I dont know but i was kind of hoping hed have contacted a museum before he did that. Or a Lawyer. Now its just a whole lotta nothing. Bah!
