My darling, Sara, Though the failing use of my right hand means Ill never be able to slam a door with my right, quite as loud as I can with my left, I promise Ill withstand the pain and pull it open when you answer me whos there, My darling, Sara. When the day comes that I get home and have to use every fiber of my being to slam that door, whatever is left outside of it is more than I can handle, but Ill handle it, so when I do. I promise you that the sound it makes will echo loudly into the uncaring ears of my neighbors, much like the sound of my goodbye echoed throughout the body of which your conscience no longer catered, my darling, Sara, You give me strength. and I just want to use that strength to prove to you that Im willing to go any length, that Im willing to try. and I know that slamming a door doesnt seem like more than what I can do, but I promise its only the beginning of the beginning, so when I slam that door just know, that I walked through it, and the only reason I slammed it was because I was winning. Youll be grinning to know that a problem lies behind every door, so when I slam another one shut, its just another point I scored, and for every score, I win more tickets to spend, and when the day is finally over I can only hope that Ive earned enough tickets to buy more time with my girlfriend, Time with my darling, Sara.
