My daughter and I went to the movies the other day and it got me to thinking about the old Milford theater. I remember having to leave and go to the gas station next door to use the bathroom. The coke machine the you pushed the handel on to rotate the inside drum and get a new bottle into place so you could remove it. And then the thrum-thrum-clunk sound as people rolled the empty bottles under the theater seats and it hit the leg of one of the seats. If I remember correctly, you could get popcorn, but not candy. The theater in Holly was the opposite in that you could get candy, but not popcorn or drinks.
