My dear brethren, WORRY is not from God....STOP WORRYING! LUKE 12:25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? LEARNING NOT TO WORRY...... In the verses above and below this scripture, Jesus is telling His disciples to stop worrying about their basic need for food and clothing. God does provide for His own. Jesus spoke of how God fed the ravens. The He points out how much more valuable we are than birds. Our Lord was wanting His disciples to break their habit of worrying. He knows that worrying is harmful to our spirits, souls and bodies. He also know that God will always give us what we need. As Jesus’ disciples today, we must also heed His words about worrying. We need to step out on faith and trust God to provide for us. We also need to trust Him to heal us, or give us grace to endure our afflictions. We need to trust Him to heal difficult relationships with others. We also definitely need to trust Him to save us, and keep us saved. Studying His Word should settle that issue for us, once and for all. God doesn’t want us to be in a state of worry all of the time, or even part of the time. He loves us too much to let us do that. Let us remember God’s definition of faith, in Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” May you give your worries to the Lord each day, as you walk with Him. He will then give you peace and strength for living!
