My family has over whelmed me again this week! Another birthday dinner - 6 grandchildren, daughters, sons-in-laws, dear dear friends, and then the door bell rings - mum go answer the door - and who is standing on my porch - my BFF Betty & her hubby Dave! They flew in from Calgary this afternoon for me! This was my familys big surprise! I am still overwhelmed - Betty is not just my BFF - she is my family, she has always been there, the highs the lows the smiles the tears. We have shared 44 years, before husbands, before kids, long before grey hairs (not me!) wrinkles, we know more about each other than we care to remember, as Betty said tonight weve been together 75% of our lives. Overwhelmed, I am just overwhelmed, and I am blessed with my family and those friends who are my family! I love you all! Ps you guys left before we finished all the wine!!
