My father broke his hip last night falling out of his wheel chair and now this morning he has had to undergo surgery to place a steel plate in his hip to keep all the pieces together. He is already in a fragile state so noone knows how well he will do with the surgery or recovery.He really needs constant care at this point and should no longer be living at home, he is a danger to himself and constantly putting my sisters life at risk too. I pray that someone can reach him and make it very clear to him that he should not be living at my sisters house and should be living in a nursing facility. I know the last place anyone wants to have their parents be in a nursing but at this point he cant be home alone anymore. just praying that he will b ok and that my sisters kid will realize her mother needs her and that she will be there for her.Will update later on word of his surgery and expected recovery..
