My friends Deepawali celebrations are over, but now it is time for introspection. Should we not celebrate next Deepawali without crackers, SILENT DEEPAWALI!? How much pollution of biosphere crackers have caused, have we not virtually raped the biosphere? How many lives had been lost because of suffocation and noise pollution? How many shops have got burnt because of crackers? ?How much of money had been virtually burnt which could have been usefully spent else where, especially when there are many hungry mouths to feed & Srinagar needs every ones contribution after unprecedented floods ? How much of muck had been created in our colonies by over enthusiastic Deepawali celebrators, when SWACHH BHARAT ABHYAN is on! Have we, the so called educated and aware people, behaved as educated illiterates and need to change our mind set? Are we not supposed to un-learn bad practices in vogue in society for years and motivate others to do the same? Are we as parents and elders not expected to teach and motivate our children against use of crackers and other bad practices? Dont we want our country to become neat & clean as our worthy PM has made us to promise? No government can make the country progress unless we all willingly and whole heartedly cooperate with the government in power irrespective of the political party we belong to! LET US ALL WORK TO MAKE OUR BELOVED INDIA GREATEST & STRONGEST!
