My good friend and fellow photographer Rasmus Degnbol challenged me to share five B&W photos over the next five days, in turn challenging a new person every day. So this is my third of five images I will be sharing over the next days: An image (actually two, and I could share many MANY more) created only last month with my dear friend, actor, singer and director Annelouiise Abegg Gomard, who have inspired me more than most. I have photographed her several times before, but always found it difficult to capture the essence and beauty of her personality. This time around I asked her to sing (she has the most amazing voice), and she sat there, in front of my camera singing Somewhere over the rainbow, she absolutely brought a tear to my eye. It was such a magic and emotional moment of honesty and I felt the camera wasnt even there. It was just the two of us, and it was TRULY magic. Let me pass this challenge on to my friend Drew Gurian, an extremely talented photographer, a gentle and friendly shooter with a keen eye for capturing portraits and imagery that speaks to the soul. Over the next five days you have to post a B&W image every day, and with every image challenge a new friend to do the same.
