My guy is preaching about following our path. He is right, I fully believe in this and know that everyone is destine for greatness. The only thing that stops us from accomplishing it, is ourselves. We crumble to our fears or avoid challenges because of inconvenience. I know I have fallen into this trap a few times in my life and was able to easily rationalize why not to pull that trigger (I.e. law school, Ivy league colleges, PhDs.....). Sure we will fail at some of our ventures, but you never truly fail unless you do not grow and learn from your failures. I personally have failed a number of times and as a result found my place in this world (humdilallah). If it were not for taking these risks, some successful and some failed, I would not be anywhere close to where I am today. So please check out this video and truly listen. He may talk about inventions and such but that could easily be changed to other purposes in life. Such as helping others or growing an industry that already exists.
