My husband didnt want me to share what is going on here, but I - TopicsExpress

My husband didnt want me to share what is going on here, but I feel I have to because we really need prayers. Our James is growing and getting heavier, but is not yet able to walk. It is getting very difficult to lift him and then his wheelchair in and out of the van so we have been saving for some time to buy a vehicle with a lift or a ramp. A couple of weeks ago we found what we thought would be the perfect one. As it turns out, it has been an absolute nightmare. John flew to Phoenix, Arizona to buy it last Saturday and immediately had to put a new radiator in it. He got 60 miles out of Phoenix and the transmission (that we had been told was new but was not) blew. We had been told the bus was in weekly service, but we found out after the transmission blew that it had actually been sitting for a year. Tires were dry rotted and all 6 had to be replaced, along with all new lug nuts because they had the wrong size on there. After many hotel bills, tow bills, and these repairs, John got on the road on the way home last night. At about 11:50 he texted me to pray and that he would call me in a couple of minutes. I lost all contact with him. At about 3am I got a call from an individual who had stopped to help him as he was broken down on the side of the road and had no phone signal. He told me where he was so that I could call a tow truck for him. I just heard through the dispatcher that the tow truck driver had arrived and John is ok. Would you please pray for a few things specifically for me: 1) for Johns safety; 2) for Johns quick return home; 3) for peace and strength for me; and 4) for Gods provision as this has become a huge financial burden that we had no way to anticipate. Prayer is powerful. God is gracious. Thank you friends.
