My husbands car was broken into early this morning, after 3:30am. The person smashed the passenger side window and took two bags from his car; an old Apple case and his lunch box. My husband suspects the thief saw him come home and then waited before breaking his car window. There is someone in our area who has been prowling the neighborhood for months, checking for open car doors and stealing items. I rarely hear that the cars are damaged and broken into. Our next step will be to purchase a surveillance system. If you tend to leave any items n your car, make sure they are concealed. Of course what is better is to bring everything into the house. Lock all doors and trust no one.
