My latest weathering job. CP 5417 is a former HELM nee KCS SD40-2. I started with an Athearn RTR KCS SD40-2 model (HO). I changed the radiator grills and added some details including walkway tread and new steps. I stripped the factory lettering and patched and decaled for CP. I weathered it using acrylic washes, gouache, weathing powders and some airbrushing on top. I also installed Tsunami sound and LED lighting.
