But in all honesty, in the past 30 days our neighbor has reported shots fired near his street and Irving PD has also responded to reports of shots fired on Mayflower St, a few streets over. So Im not saying Im gonna draw on anyone that looks suspicious, but its nice to have more options available to me if I cant run or de-escalate a situation. Its less about answering violence with violence and more about having a wider range of options when my life may be at stake.
