My neighbors dogs name is Butter, and I just thought, Wouldnt that be some shit if they had someone pet-sit while they were out of town and something happened to the dog, like he ran away or died or something, and the pet-sitter freaked out and bought a lookalike before the family came home? And the switcheroo works, for a while, but then something tips them off -- like maybe the new dog has more white on his hind left foot or something -- and, pretty soon, the pet-sitter has to confess. And, while the wife and kid sob, mourning their lost pup, hurt by the pet-sitters betrayal, the dad, numb and paralyzed in anger and frustration, finally breaks his silence and opens his mouth to say, Man. I cant believe its not Butter. Thank you, goodnight!
