My niece, Melissa Tranbarger Bell, earlier today posted a message on my wall relating how she heard "I wear my Sunglasses at Night" and it made her think of me. That made me think of how some songs automatically bring certain people to mind when you hear them, sometimes for no apparent reason. Although my father was not a Johnny Cash fan, this song recorded by Johnny in 2002 without fail always brings Dad to mind and tears to my eyes. As I listen to it, I see him sitting at the organ bench in our house playing guitar and softly singing. I imagine how his contemplating the things in his life he would liked to have done differently.
