My only problem with the State of the Union speech was that it painted to rosy a picture of the state were in, and didnt go far enough in terms of soloutions to really solve the problem with the economy, which is that too few are profitting and inequality is growing. Ultimately this will tear the nation apart. Taxes need to be raised drastically on the rich, and not only on their earnings, but their accumulated wealth. This money, then, needs to be used to rebuild and revamp our infrastructure, and give jobs to those needed to do so.
