My race summary: In September Stacey Wade Sarmiento says we should relay for the Winter Warrior relay Me: How far do I have to run? Stacey: 4 miles max Me: Is it inside? Stacey: I think so (I am pretty sure you said that, but we will still be friends) November Stacey: Oops - same day as my work party. Early December: Snowflakes Jenny Lee and Lisa looking for a 3rd. Met on this page. Ok, Im in, its inside. December: sign up and find out its outside December: Ok, I did 3 5Ks, even if I have to walk I can do 5 miles. Yesterday: WTF.... but I have the gear now. Start time: 4PM my husband met me and said love you He told me today he was there for 10 minutes and said this is brutal. At the start line, introduced myself to Christine - that had the Nike Purple jacket that I have but wasnt wearing. She was a God Send, and we paced for the 2 laps I did. Please message me Christine... I felt so bad leaving you at the relay check point - but you had that next lap! Jenny Lee and Lisa - my teamates - you guys rocked finishing! Feeling not worthy with everyone that did their first 1/2 yesterday, but then had to realize I a) never ran 5 miles before and b) it was f-ing cold!
