My son just finished physical therapy.... hes getting discharged today.... but we still have a long road ahead of us.... I have to administer a shot in his stomach every 12hrs (blood thinners to prevent blood clots) .... hes heavily medicated and has a concussion , so i gotta make sure hes being supervised.... because hes learning how to use crutches (fall risk)..... he has appointments, with orthopedic, concussion and speech therapy clinics within the next week or so.... I absolutely hate watching him endure all of this pain.... but I can truly say, Its a blessing watching him get up and maneuver around.... The van was total loss, so hes extremely blessed to even be here right now, with an injury that will heal.... hell get the chance to be normal again, with the exception of the metal rod in his leg....
