My take.... For goverment to reduce its recurrent expenditure, It must stop beating around the bush and hit the nail on the head.... 1. Kill off most of the commisions starting with nyachaes CIC which add no value and are toothless dogs. 2. Trim the ministries executive staffs who either work as advisory or signatories. They are useless. 3. Politicians must be reduced from the number it is now to 222 in parliament and half in the senate. 4. Civil servants pay must be harmonised to be equal to your qualifications. Paying an illiterate bagger called MCA 300k and paying doctors or engineers bullshit is total boloney, 5.CHASE CARS and FUEL GUZZLER VEHICLES must be reduced by half. 6. All nominated MCAs, MPs and senators must go home. People are nominating girlfriends and bootlickers in those offices. Useless, 7.DCs, Dos, county commisioners offices should be scraped for they are not in our constitution. 8.foreign trips by the executives should be reduced and instead embrace technology and attend those conferences via skype.
