My thoughts and Prayers to Chief Reg Maloney and his family. This is a man who committed his life to helping other people. His calm yet strong character, is what made him a man people loved and respected. Not only his family and community lost a great dad, husband, friend uncle, our Mikmaq Nation has lost a wise and gentle Leader. His Legacy will be remembered. He had work with my dad, late Chief Wayne Googoo, and now joins him in heaven. Reg used to tell me when we were in meetings.. your dad would be proud( thats always made me feel good) It was a great Privledge and Honor to have know him as a friend and very honored to be Chief with him. I am Proud to have known him and will pray for him and his family as he crosses over to a very peaceful place. All my best my friend, and join our leaders, your friends, that have passed, on the other side. Love, Peace, and comfort from all our Mikmaq people! Love you Chief Reg Maloney... Rest in Peace
