My thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones in the recent attacks in Australia and Pakistan. There are no words in our language to describe my revulsion for the murderers, and I genuinely fear at the world our children are inheriting. I was born just after the second World War and grew up understanding peace was a precious thing to have. Now thanks to such evil people we are slowly hearing worse and worse news every week. Burning a teacher alive in front of her pupils? Killing children in their classroom? Even a coffee shop isnt safe anymore. Although we must all go about our usual business I would be lying if I didnt feel slightly nervous these days in crowded towns. My deepest sympathies to those involved. What a terrible Christmas it will be for them.
