My unofficial conclusion is that work-life BALANCE is a farce. To balance is to keep or put (something like work and life) in a steady position so that it does not fall. Ha! Impossible... and why even try to divide work and life from one another? Im moving in the opposite direction! And so should you. Work and life should work together. Instead, its work-life BLEND Im striving for. To blend is to be integrated. Im done balancing time. I have decided to embrace this fact and work on the best blend for my life. For you, that first step might mean being paid for results rather than the amount of hours worked. For me, this means working hours that fit around my schedule (e.g. Im waking at 4:15 a.m. to keep the pace of projects)
