N21b vs N54m, a ploy to collect Aso Rock through the court. - TopicsExpress

N21b vs N54m, a ploy to collect Aso Rock through the court. Trending on the part of caution. Sometimes I asked, who are the strategists of PDP? What qualifies them to their respective positions? What are their functions? Do they really know their jobs? These and many other questions that comes to my mind each time they create unnecessary controversies that opposition capitalises to fight back after elections. Sometimes, I give it to Lai Mohammed of APC, though a propagandist, his PDP counterpart will never make use of the media to adequately inform the public the achievements of his subject like Chief Lai himself. No wonder, the masses are not seeing the good work, the administration of GEJ have to showcase accordingly. I can therefore but conclude that the PDP strategists are nothing but flamboyant people, concerned to showcasing how rich they are. This was evident in the lunching organized to raise money for Mr. President. While they are busy on the quantum and volume of money raised, the strongest opposition APC are peddling on the conservative role to beat the guideline of the electoral process. Section 91.2 is very clear about the maximum expenses required by any presidential candidate. It was not explicit about the sources which means, the funding can come in the form of donation like the lunching organised for GEJ. Have PDP asked themselves, if with the known capitalists in the likes of Tinubu, Aitku, Ameachi, Fashola and others, GMB came out to organise and declare a conservative amount of N54m? How many Nigerians actually paid into the account the sum of N100 each that amounted to the publicised N54m? I expect PDP to be tactical in their actions. By law, a presidential candidate should not incur more than N1b yet, GEJ team is fronting N21b. Trust, someone will go to court to seek GEJ disqualification by this action if nothing is done urgently. A press briefing tactically reducing the amount to less than N1b by excuse if refunding other moneys will not be a bad idea. Otherwise, now GMB is facing certificate wahala, an unknown person can just emerge through disqualification imbroglios. That is to say, when GMB is disqualified if actually hes unable to produce School Certificate as required by law, GEJ faces above N1b requirement discomfiture, Martin Onovo may just become the next President if PDP does not act fast now... I submit therefore that talking and moving on the part of caution is the best way to go.
