NASARAWA STATE GOVERNMENT AND THE CRITICS The political ambition - TopicsExpress

NASARAWA STATE GOVERNMENT AND THE CRITICS The political ambition of certain elements in Nasarawa State tend to have led to barrage of unnecessary and unjustifiable criticisms of the present administration even as it was half-way in its first term of four years. As one may observed, the desperation to see the administration exit in 2015 heightened the emotionally frenzied minds of the ethnic jingoists to such level of blindly ignoring the inability to prove their accusations against the leadership in the State. It was this thoughtless emotion that rendered all their points of criticisms look more of ridiculous and subtle, lacking in substance and never substantiated. To tell one that the critics were more of confusionits than one might be thinking,, they shift from one point of allegation to the other without proving the previous one, neither do they answer basic questions about their allegation satisfactory when asked. After trying all sorts of rubbish, now they seem to have settled for an accusation which their actions, behaviours and utterances point to the fact that they represent the principal architects of the insecurity problems in the State. Therefore, it is amusing to discover that such characters opened group discussions in the social media only talking among themselves. The moment anyone outside their circle posted some comments he would be considered an intruder and the comments rarely find prominence. But they still argued that their views and opinions represent the interest of the State. No other reasonable citizen of Nasarawa State would ever accept their assertion. As for those picking isolated crisis in the State to accuse the administration for inability to contain insecurity were simply hypocrites. The insecurity situation in the State MUST as a matter of fact be considered against the background of all the crisis that started as from 2012. As such, incidences at Agyaragu, Barikin Abdullahi, Bassan Zarangi, Kwandare, Obi, Shabu, Lafia as well as the murder of over seventy security personnel along Alakyo road MUST count in our analysis of the situation to determine the appropriate place to point accusing figure for the instability in the State. Just yesterday youth wing of certain ethnic group in the State apologised over the murder of over seventy security personnel. One apologises only for what he was directly responsible. Then, why the denial all this while? Anyway, we are waiting to receive similar admission from the main body of the ethnic militia including its leadership and the leading politicians going about spreading falsehood.
