NEED HELP TO ID ASSAULT SUSPECT Anderson, SC (Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:30a.m.) Sheriff’s deputies are asking the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect involved in the Assault and Battery of a Walmart employee. On Friday, September 12, 2014, at approximately 4:30pm, the suspect, who was attempting to purchase a hunting license, became involved in an argument with a store clerk. The incident occurred at the Walmart located at 11410 Anderson Road. When the clerk left the store, the suspect followed him to his car. The two exchanged obscene gestures, which further provoked the suspect. The suspect then exited his vehicle and punched the clerk in the left cheek area. The assailant is described as a white male, 30-35 years of age. At the time of the incident he was wearing an orange shirt, with white lettering, and blue jeans. His vehicle is described as a metallic newer-model Toyota Corolla.
