NERO UPDATE!! We have been waiting for some test results before telling everyone the GREAT news - Nero is finally on his way to recovery! We are so happy about this turn around but not entirely surprised... With some many of our friends praying for Nero, he had a great deal of support behind him! Nero is continuing to receive medication and all the love and care he needs in his skilled foster home. He is scheduled on Saturday for a chest X-ray to check on the progress of the healing of his lungs. While we are so thrilled for our big boy, we still have a long way to go in paying Neros substantial vet bill. Since we rely solely on private donations, we bear all the expenses of caring for our animals and keeping our facility open.
