NEWS FLASH Jubilation, Joy and elation pervades the tension-soaked streets of Kano, North West Nigeria earlier this week when the state Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso announced the award of foreign schorlarship to 200 and 100 Medical and Pharmacy Students respectively. The beneficiaries were indigenes of the state. The scholarship, according to media reports, covers tution, feeding, accomodation and study materials of the lucky students. The Governor also used the occasion to recalled that his administration had in last year sent 400 indigenes of the state abroad for postgraduate studies aimed at developing manpower that will help rebuild the state.
