NIGHT PRAYER In the name of the Father + and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. All of my life I will praise the living God, my heart full of joy I will bless His Holy name... For all You have done for me from the beginning to the end of this day, I give You thank, Almighty Father. Visit this house, O Lord, we pray, and drive far from it the snares of the enemy; may Your Holy Angels dwell with us and guard us in peace, and may Your blessing be always upon us. O heavenly Father, You gave Your children sleep for the refreshing of soul and body: Grant me and my household this gift, I pray; keep us in that perfect peace which You have promised to those whose minds are fixed on you; and give me such a sense of Your presence, that in the hours of silence I may enjoy the blessed assurance of Your love; through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen. Dear Jesus, as a hen covers her chicks with her wings to keep them safe, do thou this night protect us under thy golden wings, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
