NOT LOVING THIS ARTICLE The state of journalism has deteriorated so that it no longer serves to report the news, but rather seeks to sensationalize rather than to inform. Of course, to inform, one must first be informed. Witness the MSN article that follows. Like chicken little it screams that somehow bad cellulose is everywhere and it is disgusting, wood pulp, it says. While technically correct, cellulose is a component of the cell walls of all plants, there are many varieties of cellulose. Cellulose itself is a polysaccharide, meaning many sugar molecules joined in exactly the same way. Now sugar may be bad for you, and that might be a good story, but don´t sensationalize it to tell me I am eating wood pulp (oh sick, barf, barf). Left out of the article was that there is cellulose in the french fries, lettuce, onions, pickles and tomatoes, it occurs in them naturally...
