Namibia has taken over the chairmanship of the Southern Africa Regional Police Chiefs Co-operation Organization- SARPCCO from Tanzania. Tanzinanian Police Inspector-General, Saidi Ally Mwema handed over the chairmanship to his Namibian counterpart, Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga in Windhoek. The spectacular handing over ceremony took place under the watchful eyes of all SARPCCO police chiefs, with the outgoing Chairperson, congratulating Namibia on its election as chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Co-operation.
