GOOD HEART AND PURELANDS The differences in religion, culture or skin color have no power to hinder your inner good nature to shine forth! Everyone, even the most vicious animal has a soft-spot or loving-kindness toward their loved-ones. Compassion, is the extension of this soft-spot to a larger scale, embracing the strangers or even your enemies. A pure or good heart is the fundamental cause to achieve a higher or better rebirth. Even a non-Buddhist can be reborn in pure-lands. Pure-lands are not created by the Buddhas, its the result of virtues and good deeds from pure minds. Thus, endeavor to abandoning harmful thoughts, engage in virtues and cultivate loving-kindness toward all living beings. But in the beginning, it may be easier to start with your loved ones.
