Narendra Modi very badly informed: Omer Abdullah Srinagar: In a scatting attack on the Bharatiya Janata Partys prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that either he is ill informed or telling a lie. Omar posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - The BJP PM candidate is either very badly informed or very economical with the truth. Im not sure which one is worse though. The BJP PM candidate is either very badly informed or very economical with the truth. Im not sure which one is worse though 1/n — Omar Abdullah (@abdullah_omar) December 1, 2013 Earlier today, while addressing a rally here, Modi had said, If Omar (Abdullah) married outside Kashmir, his rights of being a citizen remain whereas his sister Sara loses the right for the same. Is this not discrimination against the women in the state. Countering this comment of the Gujarat CM, Omar tweeted, He (Modi) very conveniently used me & my sister as examples to illustrate a point that has NO bearing in truth. Either he lies or is ill informed. He added further, And finally women DO NOT lose their domicile right by marrying non state subjects regardless of the propaganda surrounding this issue. Further on BJPs take that Jammu and Kashmir should be given a special status, which indirectly downplays its own stand on Article 370, the J&K CM tweeted, I challenge him or any of his minions to reproduce verbatim the section of Art 370 that determines the J&K state subject law. Omar also rubbished the statement of Modi that the state had not been receiving tourists. And no Mr Modi tourism isnt suffering and our tourists are not going to Himachal Pradesh. Its the reverse now but why should the facts bother you. 1.4 million tourists last year and we have crossed one million tourists this year in to the Valley alone. Mr Modi needs pre-speech fact check, Omar said and also posted an aerial shot of the venue to puncture the claims of BJP that 45,000 people attended the rally. I put the photograph because its a small stadium with lots of open space visible. Estimates range from 25,000 to 45,000. You decide?, he further posted on twitter. Earlier, the Chief Minister, after reviewing the security arrangements for Modis rally had tweeted that he was curious to see the turnout.
