National Police Week is scheduled this year for the week of May 11-17. District 1 officer Jerry Hoerdt has been chosen to attend the week long event in Washington DC to represent our Indiana Conservation Officers. Officer Greg Swanson of district 6 and officer Andy Cline of district 9 will also be attending along with Jerry. Jerry is a 23 year veteran of the department and has also been a member of the honor guard team for 18 years. As the time draws closer we will update our followers on National Police Week events within district 1. We will be anxiously awaiting to see the many photos officer Hoerdt will provide us from DC as tens of thousands of officers from around the world converge to pay their respects.
