Nearly every week I receive requests to show photos of Pats Snack Bar. This iconic place, shown in these photos from Mark Heeler, would bring in people from all over the south west late at night through to early morning to sit around a large open fire pit and eat the best food in town. Our friend Dooreen Roney, who ran Pats with husband Jim, has some photos to show us which I will share with you soon. :D Pats was originally owned by Trevor Maguire. I also have heard of a man who ended up with the old fire pit. I shall endeavour to capture a photo of that for you too, using my powerful detective skills... :D
